Walter L. GABER

GABER, Walter L. 92 Years of Life Of Deer Park, Washington passed away May 2, 2015 in Spokane, WA. Walter was born in the back room of The Ranch to Frank and Dora Gaber, who were Austrian immigrants. While growing up, the family went to church in a wagon pulled by a team of horses using heated bricks for heat. Walter married N. Jane Allison Gardner on January 12, 1952. They loved to go to the old fashioned barn dances and enjoyed many friendships and memories at Bible Studies. Walter's jobs included working on the railroad, ranching, working at the Chemical Lab at Kaiser and he was also a Real Estate Agent. Walt and Jane raised three children, Bill, Janelle and Anne. He is survived by daughters: Janelle Gaber Dorsing (Terry) and Anne Gaber, and daughter-in-law Donna Gardner. Grandchildren: Scott Gardner (Jacque), Brooke Gardner Lyons (Michael), Bryce Dorsing (Sharah) and Partick Dorsing (Nicole). Great-grandchildren: Mykaela Gardner, Jake Gardner, Taylor Lyons, Tyler Lyons, Giana Dorsing, Payton Dorsing and Hayley Dorsing. A memorial mass was held on Saturday, May 9, at St. Mary Presentation Catholic Church in Deer Park, WA.
