Aleksandra Petroff Obituary
News Death Notice
PETROFF, Aleksandra 89, of Springfield died Sunday evening November 14, 2010 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born June 12, 1921 in Tipton, Indiana, the daughter of Sam and Tarpa (Dumcoff) Kakasuleff. She owned and operated, along with her husband, Nick's Party Store for a number of years. She attended Northside Church of God. Survivors include two beloved and devoted children and spouses, Vicky and James Rutledge, James R. and Jeanne Petroff all of Springfield; two grandchildren and spouses and their families, Jeremy and Catie Petroff and their children Lindsay and Lauren and Jonathan and Nina Petroff and their children Anthony and Alyssa; two much loved brothers, Sie Kakasuleff, Tipton, IN and Mike (Sarah) Kakasuleff, Noblesville, Indiana and several special nieces and nephews and her former daughter-in-law, Diane Whitworth. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas in 1990, son Boris, sister, Rhoda Kleyla and a brother Gavrel Kakasuleff. Private family services have already been held. Burial was in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Odyssey Healthcare of Dayton or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Conroy Funeral Home.
