News Death Notice
ATCHISON, Angela Ann 75, of Springfield, passed away August 10, 2016 in her home. She was born February 12, 1941 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Millie Adrian. Angela was a member of Elderly United and enjoyed detective stories and crocheting. She had been employed at Springfield Laundry (Miller Textile Services) for several years. Survivors include two sons; James L. Atchison II, Springfield and Andy Atchison (Ronnie Morris) Columbus, grandchildren; James (Lisa) Atchison III, Jennifer Atchison, Kelly (Daniel) Stevens and Aaron Atchison II, great grandchildren; Kimberly, Skyler, Faith, Isaiah and Aaron III, two brothers; John (Sue) Adrian and Ron Adrian, three sisters; Marie Oakley, Sandy Yelton and Donna Moon and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son; Aaron Atchison, and several brothjers and sisters. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00PM until 5:00PM Sunday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
