Charles Boster Obituary


News Death Notice

BOSTER JR., Charles passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Springfield Regional Medical Center on August 11, 2011. He was born October 12, 1937 in Springfield to Charles Sr. and Mable (Orahood) Boster. Charles attended First Baptist Church. Charles worked at Good and Reece Greenhouse and worked 37 years at the Thomas Tape Company. He is preceded in death by his son; James Eric Boster, his parents; Charles and Mable Boster, two sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife of 54 years; Maggie (Daniel) Boster, his daughter; Sheila Boster and one sister; Mae Spence all of Springfield, three aunts, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. His body was entrusted to the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME where funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday with Pastor Bill Saylers officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.

Aunt Maggie and Sheila,
I want to let you know how much I am thinking of you both. I have many fond memories of all are gatherings for holidays, summers and Easter. Family time with my Springfield relatives where great times, good food and lots of laughs. I love you and miss you. I will miss my uncle Charles too. Jackie
