Christian WRIGHT Obituary
News Death Notice
WRIGHT, Christian James 24, of Fairborn, went to be with the Lord, as the result of a motorcycle accident, on Saturday, July 30, 2016. He was born on May 5, 1992 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of David Wright and Angela D. (McCarty) Copeland. Christian graduated from Northwestern High School class of 2010. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served one tour in Afghanistan. He was awarded with the National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (with 2 stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Service Deployment Ribbon, NATO Medal, and Sharpshooter Rifle Qualification Badge. Christian loved God, health and fitness, and enjoyed camping. He had many friends with whom he enjoyed spending time. He is survived by his parents, step-father, Pete Copeland, his former wife Brandi (Smith) Wright, his daughter, Aubree Wright of Springfield, one sister, Jaime A. Wright of Columbus, one brother, Tyler M. Wright of Springfield, two aunts, three uncles, and special friend, Jessica Hummer of Fairborn. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5-8:00 p.m. in the First Church of the Open Bible, 4990 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights. Services to honor his life and military career will be held at the church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wally Mason officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Glen Haven Memorial Garden.

My dear sweet child, you were my strong-willed child. I love you so much and the heartbreak I feel is so great, I have lost the will to live - but, for God. I will miss Christian's big hugs every time I would see him at family get together's. He would always come and give you a hug on his own without you even asking for one. I remember him telling me how he loved family get together's so much because he just loved being with family......oh, and he loved all of the food too.
He always had friends wanting to come hang out with him. He got along with everyone. He told interesting stories where you would just want to sit there and hear more. You'll never be forgotten Christian!

Christian Thank you for serving our country. I still remember that cold dark night when you and Ken return from Afghanistan when I first met you. Although, you lived a short life you lived a full life. God must have needed another Marine on his watch in heaven. Rest easy Marine. Prayers for all of Christians family and friends during this most difficult time. Love the Kludy's

You were a great friend. I know that I may have been a blip in your life compared to others but I will remember you for the rest of my days. The laughs and the good times will keep me going strong when remembering you. Can't believe it still. Happened so fast and to a person that should have stuck around for many many years to come.
