News Death Notice
RAMIREZ, Dallas Lee 71 of Springfield passed away December 30, 2014 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 28, 1943, the daughter of Lewis and Kathryn D'Antuono. Dallas retired from Cooper Industries with 32years of service as the Marketing Secretary. She was a member of the former Oakland Presbyterian Church. Dallas was a member of the UAW, Eagles, Elks, Union Club, Buckeye Club, Moose Lodge and VFW Post 8673. Dallas also enjoyed traveling and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Michael R. Ramirez; daughter Lacey (Ricky) Bowman; grandchildren Trinity and Carden Bowman; step-children Thomas (Megan) Ramirez, Brandi Ramirez and Stephanie (Antonio) Portida Ramirez; step- grandchildren Morgan, Molly, Madison and Alejandro Ramirez. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6pm in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A service to honor Dallas will be Monday at 11:00 am in the memorial home with Pastor Charles Wertz officiating. Burial to follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions have been may be made to the American Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com

DEAR Mike & Family! Shep nor I cant find the right words to express our sadness. Words seem so inadequate to express the sadness we feel about “DALLAS's” death. We are here to support you in your grieving & with sincere sympathy.

Dallas and her husband came to Vegas last May, we spent an afternoon and evening going downtown. It was a shock to learn weeks later that she was sick and now that she died. She was a wonderful person. I wish he best for Michael.
