David Mitchell PRICE

1939 - 2017

PRICE, David Mitchell 78, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in his home. He was born on March 27, 1939, in Frankfort, Kentucky, the son of the late David Willis "Bill" and Arzana Mitchell Price. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, 157th Infantry and the 173rd Airborne Units. He worked for the Teamsters retiring after 31 years of service. David enjoyed working with his hands, tinkering with cars and home remodeling. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 plus years, Sandra (Anderson) Price, daughter, Nicole (Keith) Schneider, son, Greg (Lisa) Hagen, two grandsons: Robert "Mitchell" Schneider, and Zach Schneider; sister, Betty Jo Dowd, and brother, Thomas Price and numerous nieces and nephews. David was most proud of his grandsons and loved to follow them in all their sport endeavors and watch them grow up into young men. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12-2:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of his life will begin at 2:00 p.m. following visitation. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
