News Death Notice

AKEY, Harold 75, of Springfield, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Villa of Springfield. He was born November 20, 1939 in West Liberty, Ohio, the son of the late Lester James and Mary (Predmore) Akey. He resided in Tubman Towers and was an active member of Central Christian Church. He worked for J.C. Penney for twenty years, where he was loved by his coworkers. He is survived by his church family. Harold was known for his kind disposition, his sense of humor, and his huge smile. A celebration of Harold's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday May 17, 2015 at Central Christian Church, 1504 Villa Road, with Pastor Carl Ruby officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty, Ohio. You may express condolences to the family at www.littletonandrue.com
