Dear Andy & Paugh family,

I can't imagine there would be a pain greater than losing a sibling or a child. Our hopes and dreams confided and intertwined with that life. Oh, how unjust life seems to be.

With a heavy heart we say that although this was a shock to us here on earth, that heaven was not at all surprised.

Keeping that in mind, move forward but allow yourself to grieve for the days, months, and years to come. Your mind will be taken back to memories of yesterdays w/your brother/son. It will move from being a pain to a blessing to have so many great memories filled with him.

Take time to just "be still and know he is God." God whispers, and the world is so loud.

The Lord was and still is the creator, lover, and judge of Jamie....of us all. Don't believe or listen to the lies Satan will whisper in the dark.

Just press on knowing that God keeps his promises. Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.

God will restore joy to your family very soon w/that new little munchkin you have on the way!! Surely he knew you'd need the extra giggles. "I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!" ~Isaiah 65:24

Don't let Satan steal your joy Paugh family. It's your gift to the world. You're all blessed with that kind, fun-loving, carefree spirit. We know that you won't!

We are loving you so much from NC,
Matt, Lynnette, Mollie, Abbie, & Zoie Taylor

First let me say that the entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. I met Jamie in middle school (early 90's). My favorite memories are the YEARS of skateboarding, jamming and just hangin out! I went through valleys and over mountain tops with Jamie. He was one of the deepest and most passionate people I have ever had the good fortune to know. I hope we can all come to a peace knowing that he touched us all in different ways and celebrate the positive and awesome parts of his life. I will miss Jamie and he will always be remembered.

Jamie Paugh was my best friend. This man was my favorite person in the world. We had been friends since we got out of high school, and I will never forget the wild crap we used to get into. Jamie and I were soul mates, and now a part of me feels like it has just died.

I had the pleasure of knowing jamie in high school, and coming over to the house going into the basement to rock out to Nirvana. Just this past Spring quarter at Clark State he and I were once again in class together. RIP Jamie for I know the first person you are talking to is Kurt Cobain. You will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you my friend.
