News Death Notice
BEEGLE, Joey Lee 40, of Springfield, passed away June 14, 2011. He was born April 2, 1971 in Springfield, the son of Glenn J. and Kitty (Stringfellow) Beegle. Mr. Beegle was employed by Beegle's Auto Service. He enjoyed playing golf and all kinds of sports. Survivors include his father; Glenn Beegle, Springfield, his sister; Melanie Payne, Polaski, Tennessee, niece; Casey Payne, nephew; Caleb Johnson, his finance; Linda Loeffner, her children; Billy, Brad and Tisha, aunts and uncles; Sandy (Rodney) Bowman, Greenville, South Carolina, Diane (William) Crider, Rump, Nevada, Nicky Stringfellow, Ardmore, Tennessee, Robin Stringfellow, Rusty Stringfellow, Michigan, Denny Stringfellow Columbus. He was preceded in death by his mother; Kitty Beegle and his aunt; Debbie Lemons. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

Glenn & Melanie & Linda & Family: I am so sorry to hear about Joey. He was so young! I would be Melanie & Joey's second cousin. Kitty was my first cousin. I babysat for Melanie & Joey one time, when you lived up by Shamrock. May God be with you during this difficult time. You are all in my prayers.

joey was such a fun person to hang around. so full of life and a very honest helpful person. it saddens us to hear about your loss. he certainly will be missed. but we'll always have fond memories of him. may god comfort you in your time of such a great loss.

Glenn, I am so sorry to hear about Joey, it's just not right we are not supposed to bury our children, it's been 17 months on June 17th. since Freddy passed away it is still hard to deal with at times but I know he is in a better place. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Peggy

Glen, Joey was a great childhood friend and I will always have those memories. We had only seen each other a few times over the past 20 years but we were always friends and we would always talk sports. He was still too young to leave us but he will always be remembered. May he RIP.
