Marcella Starr Obituary
News Death Notice
STARR, Marcella Mae 89, formerly of Springfield, died at 10:50 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 in The Lodge Care Center, Loveland, OH. She was born October 20, 1920 in Urbana, OH to Edward S. and Lida (Ream) Knull. Marcella was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church and retired from Wittenberg University after 15 years of service. She is survived by three children and spouses, Richard D. and Judith Starr, Sammamish, WA; Jane and Richard Bailey, Mason, OH and Cynthia J. Ebner, South Fork, CO; seven grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a sister, Millie (Richard) Clise, Three Rivers, MI. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, infant son, Edward and her beloved husband, Robert L. Starr in 1986. The family will receive friends at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church Wednesday at 09:30 a.m. prior to the services at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Beverly DeBord officiating. Burial will be in Kingscreek Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to Richard & Jane Bailey at 5460 Old Farm Dr., Mason, OH 45040. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Cincinnati. Arrangements are being handled by the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
