News Death Notice
ADAMS, Michael A. 61, of Springfield passed away Friday evening, September 27, 2013 in his residence with his beloved family by his side. He was born July 8, 1952 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of William T. Adams. Mike was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served our country proudly during the Vietnam War. He was a thirty second degree Mason, and an avid NASCAR and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Mike will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Vikki L. (Kibler) Adams; two children, Corey (Donna) Adams and Sonya Adams; two brothers, Rusty (Rosemary) Adams and Bill Adams; one sister, Carol (Rodney) Kelley; mother-in-law, Louise Kibler; his precious grandchildren, Grace and Rylee Adams and Brody Wildman and expected grandson, Landon Adams; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Jerry) Adams-Teets; nephew, Justin Green and several other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Dave Adams and father-in-law, Otis Kibler. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of Mike's life will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Dave and I are so saddened to hear of Mikes passing. A very kind and caring Man with a great love of family. While doing work for us he spoke lovingly of his family, and I am so glad we got the chance to know him. God Bless You All.

Vikki I am so sorry to hear about Mike. He is one of the greatest guys I have ever met. I am proud to have called him a friend and loved him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I apologize that we are not able to make it up for the funeral but, please know you are in our thoughts!
