Mark and Cathy..I worked with your Mom at Collins Candy Store..She talked often about your family, she was so,proud of all of you. I was working at Sears..which she mentioned to Flip, so he came and asked me to help him find clothes for your Mom. He did this for quite a few years soI got to known him fairly well so I can honestly say he was one super guy. I knew Pam but am sorry I never met either of you. Truly sorry for your loss. To all of those who have taken the time to leave such thoughtful and heartfelt comments, thank you so much! Know that all of you, in your own special and unique ways, played a significant role in making his life so fulfilling. I know if he were still with us, he would say that he was the lucky one. I hope all of you, when thinking of him, can't help but put a big smile on your face. I know you did for him! Thanks again, Mark Lucas

I know Flip from Northridge Bowling Ally. Every time I seen Flip he put a smile on my face. He would always give me a hug. He was like the grandpa I never had. He would bring donuts to the bowling ally and he would make sure I got the one I wanted he would put it up so no one would get it. I never seen Flip with out an smile on his face. I am so sorry I never got to Villa to see him but my life was so busy. I know he will be missed by everyone. I know his family will miss him the most. May God Bless You .

Cathy, Mark, Luke and Lacee,
A few weeks ago I got to have a nice talk with your Dad at Villa. He knew who I was instantly. His same spirit of kindness and dignity were ever present. Flip and Dad (and Mike Mason) played ball together when they were young and nothing hurt.
I truly feel honored to have known Flip Lucas for all these years. We have lost a wonderful, caring man.

Flip was a very dear friend of my at Northridge bowling alley. He was like a grandpa to me that I never had growing up. He would always brighten my day when I seen him. He would always call me Lyn even though my real name was Linda. He would bring donuts to the bowling ally all the time and he would make sure that I got the one I liked he would put it back so no one would get it. He was so kind and caring. I am so sorry I never got to Villa to see him but I was so busy. I fell so bad. I know Flip will be so missed. Flip always had a smile on his face and he made everyone he came in contact with smile to . MY Prays go out to the family that I know will miss him more then anyone. God Bless You all. Linda Bolen
