In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I am so sorry to hear of Shannon's passing. We went to Schaefer and graduated from South together. We lost touch after high school, like most do, but I never forgot him. I have some wonderful memories of times spent together. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember Shannon from when we were younger and went to vacation bible school at Pitchin Methodist. Later as we went to school together he continued to prove how hilarious he was and how much of a dear friend he is. He will always hold a special place in my memories. For those who remember him from vacation bible school, I am sure that we never be able to watch a 'coco puffs' commercial and not think of Shannon's silly dance that he did while singing, "puff puff coco coco puffs".

I am so sorry to hear of Shannon's passing. Shannon brought joy to many hearts and smiles to many faces. Shannon was the best kind of friend, the kind that listened when you needed an ear, a shoulder to cry on when your heart was broke, that would pick you up when you would fall, the kind that lifted your spirits when you needed it most. Everyone that knew Shannon was better for it. I have great memories of Shannon and the time I got to spend hanging out with him through high school. We've lost touch through the years but he'll forever be in my heart. I'll miss you friend.

I was so saddened to hear about this. Shannon was always a very fun person to be around. One of my funniest memories of him was when we went sledding at Reid Park back in high school. We were laughing so hard that day. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Shannon was a one of a kind personality. He was loved and admired by so many. His zest for life, the way he always brought smiles to the faces of everyone that crossed his path. We have many years of memories with Shannon and yet it was not enough. He was a friend, a part of our family, a brother. We loved him dearly and are heartbroken by this tragic loss. We are praying for your family Georgia, Djuna & Vaughn. May God comfort you during this time of grieving. Shannon, we miss you and love you so very much. You will always be remembered for the joy that you breathed into our lives. We are truly blessed to have known you.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
