Stanley E. HACKER

1940 - 2018

HACKER, Stanley E. Age 78, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born on May 22, 1940 in Chestnutburg, Kentucky to Marcus and Hazel (McBee) Hacker. Stanley married Donna Jones on April 10, 1976 in Covington, Kentucky. He worked as a foreman at ODOT for 31 years, before retiring in 1995. In his spare time, Stanley enjoyed woodcarving, mowing the grass, and an occasional trip to the casino. He loved playing horseshoes and spending time with his family. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 42 years; children Cindy Davidson, Mark (Kristi) Hacker, Shane (Melina) Jones, and Shannon Jones; grandchildren Cody, Cory, Kristen, Quinn, and Kaleb; great grandchildren Katelynn, Brody, Aubrey, and Jayden; sisters Jean Hutson and Joyce Scott; many friends; and his beloved dog Babe. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10am at the funeral home, with Reverend Edwin Beck officiating. Burial will take place at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
