Steven Rhodes Obituary
News Death Notice
RHODES, Steven W. passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was 60 years old and had been married 36 years to wife Elaine \"Dene\" (Whitacre) Rhodes. He is survived by his wife, his daughter Stephanie M. (Rhodes) Zink and son-in-law Dan (DJ) Zink, three brothers, Richard, Dave, and Jeff and 2 sisters, Pam and Beth and numerous nieces and nephews. All who knew Steve will remember his compassionate heart and his loving smile. Steve requested donation of his body to Boonshoft for scientific research. A private family gathering will be conducted at a later date.

It was a very sad day when I heard my friend Steve had passed. I worked with steve for 15 years at Vining/Ocedar. Shared alot of stories and laughs. Altho I never met dene or Steph, I felt like I knew you with Steve speaking of you often. I used to work with brother Dave at Rinks as well. Steve was like a brother to me and will be missed so much. Rest in peace my friend. See you soon.

Wow this is so sad, Steve taught me how to mop wind at Vining/O'Cedar. We also shared a few cold ones at Ben's. Gave him many rides to his house,and stopped at the Drive Thru. It's so funny how we are all creatures of habit. I can hear his laugh like it was yesterday...Prayers to you Steve, and your Family. R.I.P.

I didn't like all and they didn't like me, but Stevie and me were always friends. Had a blast with him and we always found something to laugh about, at Vining and at Ben's... So sorry to hear about this Dene and Steph... I love ya'll.. Paul....

Our hearts and prayers are with you all.....we lost a long time best friend and brother. There will never be another like him. He taught us alot with his peaceful laid back nature and his big heart...John is lost without his buddy.
