I've never met such a humble man, who is I consider a 'Men Among Man'. He never denied me do of his teachings; good&bad.

When I would direct questions towards him, he never shied away, but always followed it with a story of own. I'm just a young one of 43, but when I met him I was 34. I always told the man the truth about myself, and his simple suggestions just captivated me, he could always find a circumstance that I could compare to my life.
We would talk for hours at the shop, and never once had I heard talk negative about someone else.

Waldo, I shed my tears for you; but not because I know where you 're at, but because I never had one more 'Porch Meeting'.

Your wisdom, I'll carry a lifetime. Love you n will always miss you. Tell my son Elijah, Daddy loves him to. Thanks for everything

My encounters with Mr. Nolcox were breif. I met him a couple years ago delivering mail in his neighborhood. He would make a point to meet with me a few days a week and we would talk about the hummingbirds that frequented the feeders on the porch. I always enjoyed our conversations whether about gardening, birds or the current events of the day. I am sorry to hear about the great loss to your family and you will be in my prayers.
