Frederick Bickmore Obituary

Frederick "Fred" Bickmore, age 85, of Pace, FL, went to be with his Lord Monday, June 8, 2015. He was born December 19, 1929 in Bangor, Maine to the late Harry S. Bickmore and Ethel Wibberly Bickmore.

Fred served in the United States Army and retired from the railroad as a signalman having worked for the Bangor and Aroostook Railroads. He was a member of Faith Chapel Assembly of God and enjoyed reading, watching Christian television (especially the Gaither's) and loved to go out and eat at local restaurants.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Geraldine Bickmore and Margaret Bickmore.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Farmer Bickmore; his sons, Marvin Bickmore, Donald Bickmore, Leslie Dionne, Frank Kolb Jr. and Alvin Kolb; his daughters, Ruth Craig, Susan Robinson, Carol Barnes and Violet Jackson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends.

A Celebration of Fred's Life will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11 AM at National Cremation & Burial Society in the Magnolia Room. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 6 until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Chapel Assembly of God Benevolence Fund, Milton, FL.

National Cremation & Burial Society has been entrusted with the arrangements.

This quiet man was full of heart to help anyone who needed his help. My husband and I always admired his dedication to his church. He will be missed. May the Lord bring comfort and peace to Sis Vera and family.
