Like Kathy Exnicios Durand, I grew up with Mike in Shippan in Stamford. I lived two houses away on Brightside Drive. We had great summers at the beach and tons of kids to play with. I will remember his enthusiasm for life and remember Ellie and the family in my prayers.

I grew up with Mike on Shippan--many summers hanging out at Oceanview, going to St. Mary's, Catholic High and UConn together. He was also a friend of my husband, Walt.I am so sorry for your loss--he will be missed. Please give my best regards to Ellie and the rest of the family.

Mike was always smiling and by the looks of it, you would have never known he had cancer. He was such a joy to be around and work with. I admired his strength. Mike, You will truly be missed.
My thoughts are with the family.

We were devastated to hear of Michael’s passing on the Sunday last.…We know he must be with his mother and father and sister in heaven. Please know that we are thinking about you all and wish we could be there with you. Our hearts go out to the entire family, and especially to Reagan and Kathy.
Sincerely,
Lisa, Steve, Nathan Cope and also Clarke O'Connor

You have come a long way together,
You have walked in sunshine and in shadows,
You have faced life's storms and shared the rainbows,
You have climbed your mountains, dreamed your dreams, faced your fears, sung your songs and reached for the stars.
You have done it all with faith and love,
And as you journey on to find tomorrow, Go with love and always go with God.
I am so proud to have you as my brother. With love, your sister, Ellie.
