Natalie Dawes

NATALIE F. DAWES, 64, of Salem, MA passed away peacefully Wednesday April 18, 2012 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers with her sisters by her side. Born in Onieda, New York, she was the daughter of the late J. William "Bill" and Katherine (Cortright) Dawes. Natalie was a graduate of Stamford Catholic High School and Vernon Court College in Newport, RI. As an adult Natalie spent most of her life working in Boston in the healthcare industry. Most recently she had been employed by Partners Healthcare, Boston. She moved to Salem to be close to the sea shore, while, most evenings and weekends you could find Natalie tending her garden. Another of her passions was her flair for decorating, which showed in the care she took in her home. An avid lover of cats she will be greatly missed by her cats Hazel and Gretel. Surviving her are four sisters; Carol Zaccardo of Stamford, CT; Kathy Russell of Townsend, MA; Colleen Hughlock of Croydon, NH; Crissie Dawes-Kuchta of Rowayton, CT as well as several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Salem on Friday at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held in the funeral home prior to the funeral from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. For condolences please visit www.gonetfuneralhome.com.
