The Leist family wishes to express our deepest sympathy. We are deeply saddened learning that a "legend" of a man has gone on to do greater work. Nick DeVito was a gentleman, humble, caring and thoughtful. He embraced our family from day one and made everyone feel so welcome. You will be missed in so many ways, but we know God has a team where he needs you to lead. May the peace of God be on you and your family always....

Nick,

You were sincerely one of the parents I had the pleasure of working with. You were always honest and upfront, even when we disagreed, and I always respected that quality in you. You're speech before the Stamford High Game in 2012(?) when you told the kids you chose to come and watch them and break a long standing tradition of attending the Yale Bowl with your college teammates was legendary!! When you tore the sweatshirt off to reveal your Trinity jersey gave me goose bumps. You will truly be missed.

Nick was a great friend and always made me laugh. He had a smile on his face at all times. We spent many a fun night playing cards at his parent's house on Square Acre Dr. Nick was one of the boys.
