Robert Blanche Obituary
Robert F. Blanche II of Stamford passed away on Saturday April 28, 2018. Robbie, as he was lovingly known, was born on November 16, 1964 in Brighton MA. He was the son of the late Robert F. Blanche and the late Charlotte J. Blanche. Robbie graduated from Westhill High School in 1984. After graduation he served his country in The United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Germany. Upon completion of his service, he returned to Stamford where he was employed by Cablevision. Following his time at Cablevision he worked in the construction field. Robbie's happiest days were the weekends he spent at West Beach surrounded by his many lifelong friends. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, carefree spirit, and his devotion to his family.
Robbie is survived by his sister Michelle DeRubeis and her husband Joseph, his sister Danielle B. Tropsa and her husband Jamie and his brother Sean Blanche and his wife Christine. "Uncle Robb-O" was adored by his nephews and nieces; Joey, Carmine and Emma DeRubeis, Emily and Kathleen Tropsa and James Blanche. He is also survived by his uncle Charles Cicciu of Foxborough, MA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Monday May 7th at 10:30 a.m. Friends may pay their respects on Monday at 9:00 -10:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Robbie's memory to the Wounded Warriors Project or any other organization of your choice supporting our Veterans.
