Rocco Docimo Obituary

Docimo, Rocco
Rocco Docimo, 89, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Born on January 8, 1925 in Rose, Cosenza, Italy. He was a devoted son of the late Secondo Docimo and Annunziata Paese Docimo.
Rocco was a loving father and is survived by his daughters, Sarina Bria and her husband Domenico, Massimina Docimo, Rosina Binetti and her husband Frank, Lina Furnari and her husband Robert, his ten grandchildren, Albino, Massimo, Francesca, Ashley, Nikki, Victoria, Liam, Alexa, Zack and Cayla, 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Carmelina Bilotta Docimo, his daughter, Teresa Docimo Gelling, his brothers Gabrielle Docimo, Frank Docimo, his sisters, Teresa Bria, Rosina Marsico, and his granddaughter Samantha. He is survived by one sisters, Maria Imbrogno.
Rocco had a love of animals and a passion for his garden. He worked in Construction and as a landscaper in Stamford and Greenwich for most of his life. What he loved most was spending time with his family.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Clement Church, 535 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, North Street, Greenwich, CT.
