Cecelia Ann Watkins Schellhamer, 79, of Hazleton, died Saturday.
Cecelia was born in Hazleton in 1944 to Dorothy and Robert Watkins. Cecelia graduated from Hazleton High School in 1962. After pursuing a career in nursing, she became a machine operator at Bemis Company (formerly St. Regis) in Valmont Industrial Park, where she made many lifelong friends.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Robert; former husband, David Schellhamer; and her favorite granddog, Desi.
Cecelia enjoyed family trips to the Jersey Shore and Florida and loved collecting Hallmark ornaments. Some of her favorite memories were fishing with her granddaughter and taking her to Knoebels Grove. She also enjoyed Disney cruises and trips to Canada with friends. She loved cheering for Penn State football and the Philadelphia Phillies. Decorating for Halloween, Christmas and Easter was a favorite activity.
Cecelia is survived by her son, Robert Schellhamer (Wendy), Boyertown; granddaughter, Amanda Schellhamer, Pottstown; granddogs, Becker and Haley; and great-granddog, Quinn.
Services will be held privately.
Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.

So sorry to hear of Celie Ann's passing. Our Mothers worked together and were friends for years. Celie Ann was a wonderful woman and will, I'm sure be missed by all the people whose lives she touched. All are in my prayers.
