Elizabeth Mae Skvasik, 79, of Upper Lehigh passed away Monday morning at her home, with her loving family at her side.
Born in West Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Stohovich) Lamasko. Prior to retirement, she was a residential service aide at the White Haven Center. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish at St. Ann's Church, Freeland, and loved bird watching at her bird feeder, having breakfast with friends and going to the casinos; however, her pride and greatest joy was spending time with her much-loved grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Joseph Gabriel Skvasik, in 2005; brothers, Johnny, Joseph, Frankie and Leo; and sisters, Mary Lamasko and Agnes Sabol.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Skvasik, Upper Lehigh; daughters, Jody Lubas and husband, Peter, Manville, N.J.; Susan Myers and husband, Jeffrey, White Haven; Sandra Skvasik and partner, James Tulanowski, Weatherly; Jennifer Skvasik, Upper Lehigh; and a sister, Dorothy Lamasko, Concord, N.C. Also surviving are grandchildren, Erik Lubas; Jessica Green and husband, Nicholas; Rachel Myers and partner, Vincent Keller; Brandon Skvasik and fiancée, Dana Valenia; Benjamin Jeffries; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend graveside services at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John's Cemetery, Walnut Street, Freeland.
