Jason Patrick Meyer, 45, passed away May 10 as the result of a tragic car accident.
Born in Pottsville, Aug. 2, 1976, he was the son of June (Murphy) Stefan, St. Clair; and his father, the late Dale E. Meyer; and stepfather, Joseph P. Stefan.
Jason graduated from Pottsville High School, class of 1994, and attended Penn State University. He was an executive manager for Verizon Precision Wireless for eight years. He went on to help found and partner Clean+Sober Living, Absecon, N.J. He was well liked and very much admired for his financial wisdom and getting companies to move forward. Jason will be missed by everyone but no one more than his mother.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two children, Jason Daniel; and Phoebe Elizabeth Meyer; a sister, Shannon Meyer-Newell, Galloway, N.J.; stepbrother, Joseph Stefan; and two very special nieces, Haley and Kori Meyer.
His funeral will be held with a combined memorial service with his soulmate, Jessica Megan Gualtier, at 1 p.m. Saturday from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
