Leonard R. Gottstein, 87, of Nuremburg passed away Saturday night in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
Born in Beaver Twp., he was the son of the late Raymond and Goldie (Frey) Gottstein and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Weston.
He was a U. S. Army veteran. He was self-employed for 38 years in the home improvement business. He was the past president of Twin County Lions and on May 18, 2019, received the 50 years award. He also received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his sisters, Marie Hartley and Julia Kaszmetski.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, the former Alice Flaim; sons, Leonard Gottstein, Middletown, Ohio; and Thomas Gottstein and wife, Mary, Drums; grandchildren, Taylor Reddy, Connor, Jordan, Thomas, Michael, Mary Kate, Sarah and Allison Gottstein; great-grandchildren, Delilah and Ruby Gottstein; and Owen and Finn Reddy; brother, Walter Gottstein and wife, Sharon, Mainville; sister, Josephine Keyser, Bloomsburg; and nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Church, Weston.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Weston.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
