Ronald Dale Meneeley Sr., 81, of White Haven passed away Saturday in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
Born in Scale Siding, White Haven, he was the son of the late Ellsworth B. and Loretta (Acker) Meneeley.
He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Drifton.
Before retiring, he was a salesman for Stoehmann's Bakery.
Ron loved his family, model trains and spending time with his friends at his train shop in the Freeland Marketplace.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his son; Ronald Jr.; brothers, Malcolm and Bruce, who was killed in action in the Korean War.
He is the last surviving member of his parents and siblings.
Surviving is his wife of 59 years, the Rev. Beverly (Klingerman) Meneeley; son, Bruce and his wife, Donna, Easton; daughter; Karen and her husband, James Lloyd, White Haven; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. James Episcopal Church, 2161 Route 940, Drifton. The Right Rev. Kevin Nichols, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem, will officiate.
Friends and relatives may meet at the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday.
Masks are required to enter St. James Church.
Burial will follow in Mount Laurel Cemetery, Hazle Twp.
Donations can be made to St. James Church at the above address.
McNulty Funeral Home, 494 E. Butler Drive, Freeland, is in charge of arrangements.
