So, legacy reminds us it has been near 10 years. Well, in my mind, i saw you yesterday.
At the Wagner hotel, at the Watkins Elks, at the BC open. When i look at photos of my Dad, i see you, and The gang at Rosars. Bulgy, the Murphy's, The Driscolls, Jim Ford, J Randolph, T Major Sr, etc. Then in see this photo from paper, of you, Kirkendall, and Wheaton forming the peewee football league.. so typical of what you did.. Also, seeing. Joe Sindelar, reminds me of seeing you, John Murph, him at USPO when i worked a summer there.
Thanks for the memories, Al. Especial thanks for the daughter, Suzie. when i come to town and see her, my heart is gladdened! Hi too, to Carolyn, your rock.

The Frost Family are blessed with such good friends and family. Thank you all for taking the time to write to us. We copied all the selections and gave them to mom to read. She is still very sad. Her sister, Betty Whitman, had died on Jan. 20, the day of the Inauguration, and then Marie Lucas after dad on 2/9 and then Bob's wife, Kathy's, grandmother died on 2/11. So you can see that our family has been saddened many times in the last months. We love you all for your kind words and happy memories of Frosty's and Beef Eater's and Watkins Glen, and so on!
Love, The Frost Family

Carolyn and Susan and all our friends who loved Frosty,
You did a wonderful job on the Obituary, All of us that knew him
agree he was a Truly Great American !
I learned my lesson trying to cover all my thoughts in Jimmy Voorhees Guest book.. you can't DO it because "they" (the Legacy folks) won't let you write a book!
Sure Frosty and my Dad were close friends. as were all of those unbelievable guys that made Rosar's THE place to be in Horseheads in the 50's and 60's.
But i knew him too, from working at the Post Office the summer of 1957 for John Murphy. and when he and Carolyn volunteered to help JV with the crowd control at the BC Open Hole number 2.
He always treated me like "family". as he did everyone else. He was a great person to spend time with. He not only remembered you, he remembered your family and the history you had with him..
like all those others who signed the guest book and the ton of folks that will be/were at the viewing..we will miss him greatly.
I am in Florida right now and just today found out. i am sad to miss being there. i will visit the grave this summer. Dad would want that..

To the Frost Family: "Frosty" as we knew him growing up as our mailman was a very special person, he brought smiles, as well as laughter to his customers on his route. He took time to talk to us as well as handing out candy to all of the children that would come running out to get the mail when we saw his truck coming up the road. My parents never missed showing their appreciation to him either at Christmas time . He will be remembered fondly by a lot of people that he touched their lives in special ways. Sincerely;

No words can express how I feel in the loss of you Frosty. You gave me me first job ever at Beef Eaters . I still can remember the day that my Dad and I walked in there when they were still building and you gave me my first job in my life as your dishwasher. You talked to me after my Dad passed and made me feel better about all when I was so full of pain. When Mom died, you were there again. You helped me through such bad times in my life. Whenever I come back home you are one that I would make sure that I saw and that I got to see and talk to. I will go in to Beefs whenever I'm in town still and think of you and all the good times we had in there. Roast beef sandwiches and gravy friesl The best around town! You always had a smile on your face and were one of the kindest man I've ever known. God Bless you Frosty. I love you and will miss you!!

We are saddened by the passing of our friend "Al" Frost aka Frosty. We will cherish the memories of times past. I spent many hours in Beef's when I got home from the service. We swapped many stories. Some were even true. Out heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and our "special" friend Suzie Frost Driscoll. We would also like to thank Southern Tier Hospice for helping so many (including our family).
