Today I'm looking back at The Christopher Gray Memories. My daughter had passed away a few days before Chris. MJ sent me flowers and it said on the card, May God Bless our Children. I just found the card today along with many others. Thinking of you Mary Jean and Red. Miss you, Joanie

Rod and MJ. I'll always remember the morning I read about Chris. I was so shocked to think just a few day before we had lost our beloved Kathy. Same age. It's been a rough few days this week for all of us. Thinking of you. Heartfelt Memories.

I knew Chris Gray mostly for about the one year we played on the same Small Fry football team in Horseheads. He was 1 year older than me. I have not seen him in about 38 years. But I can talk about how he played football. He was a fantastic player; the quarterback and team leader. I was a halfback. Chris was a leader by example. Whenever we had to get a first down, the coach (my father) had a simple and effective plan, let Chris run. He usually made the first down dragging a couple of defensive players with him across the first down marker. I hope the best for his family at this difficult time.
