David Brockway Obituary

David M. Age 51, of Diatreta Lane, Corning, died Thursday, December 21, 2006. He was born November 29, 1955 in Corning, the son of Kenneth and Virginia Compton Brockway. He married Deborah Miller on July 14, 1995 in Bath, NY. David was a self-employed contractor and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Beaver Dams. He loved building things but first and foremost he loved his children and family. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; three sons, Crastin Brockway of Wayland, Jachob and Joshua Brockway, both of Savona; four daughters, Cassie Miller-Brockway and Kelsi Brockway, both of Hornell, Mollie and Concetta Brockway, both of Savona; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Jean Brockway of Beaver Dams, Thomas and Lydia Brockway of Eldred, PA, Benjamin and Teresa Brockway of Diverville, MS, Daniel Brockway of Auburn, NY, Steven and Roxanne Brockway of Canisteo; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Brockway of Gang Mills, Irene and Marshall Easling of Corning, Bonnie and Gerald Roloson of Beverly Hills, FL, Barbara Blank of Beaver Dams; a granddaughter, Alexis Brockway; one aunt, one uncle, 39 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Franklin and Rockie Brockway; and three sisters, Virgin, Linda Lou and Susan Brockway. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for David on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Grace Baptist Church in Beaver Dams at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. David Maulucci officiating. Memorial donations may be made in David's name to Grace Baptist Church, 2032 Chambers Rd., Beaver Dams, NY 14812. Arrangements are with Carpenter's Funeral Home.
