HART, Elizabeth Falck
Of Elmira, New York, died at home on Friday, August 15, 2008, after a long illness. She was 92 years old. The daughter of Elizabeth Rathbone Falck and Alexander Diven Falck, Mrs. Hart was educated at Miss Hall's School and Sarah Lawrence College. A love of learning pervaded her entire life. Mrs. Hart loved Elmira and Little Moose Lake in Old Forge, New York, where she spent most of her summers with her family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John S., Jr. and Dorianne Riggs of Horseheads, NY, and Old Forge, NY; daughters and sons-in-law, Diana R. and Frederick M. Genung of Naples, FL, and Woodbury, CT; Anne and Rexford Good of Naples, FL; grandchildren, J. William Riggs, Alexander M. Genung and Lee, Rebecca Riggs Brunner and Matthew, Elizabeth Genung Taylor and Prescott, James M.A. Riggs and Beatrice K.E.; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Rathbone Riggs; her husband, Roswell R. Hart; her brothers, Alexander D. Falck, Jr. and James Rathbone Falck. A memorial service will be at Grace Episcopal Church on the corner of Davis Street and Church Street in Elmira, on Monday, September 8, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, at the convenience of the family.
