Peck, Jelene M.
Age 45 of Elmira Heights passed away Fri. Sept. 9, 2016. She was born in Elmira to John Tacka and the late Claire Symonds Tacka. Her family includes her husband, James Peck, Children,
Maryea Rogers of NY, NY, Rebekah Peck of San Diego, CA, James Peck Jr. and Sam Peck of Lockwood, NY; Father, John (Maryann) Tacka of Horseheads, NY; Sister, Corrinna Dutton of Elmira Heights, NY; Several aunts, uncles, extended family members and many friends. Jelene had been employed with NYS DDSO as a disability aide. Services with the Barber Funeral Home will take place privately with burial with her late mother, Claire Tacka in Maple Grove Cemetery. A celebration of her life is being planned for a date in the near future and will be announced. May God bring peace into your hearts, I was friends with Jelene at a young age we would go to Lauren's house go swimming and hang out. As we grow older our paths drifted apart but we stayed in touch through Face Book. Jelene was a very strong willed lady and had a wonderful heart. Me and my family will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers, we are so sorry for your loss.

I only just met jelene recently but my daughter automatically became close to her thru knowing she was once married to her uncle joe Rogers. My heart goes out to her family during this sad time. And prayers for the family. God bless

I'm so sorry for your loss. Jelene was an amazing person with the biggest heart ever, we went to school together and hung out at her house in high school. She has many many friends n loved ones.
