HANSEN Keith Lee

Clifton Park: Age 39 of Clifton Park, NY formerly of Horseheads, NY passed away with his family by his side on Saturday March 26, 2011 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Keith was born May 22, 1971 in Elmira, NY the son of Randell B. "Randy" and Sharon Baiz Hansen. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School Class of 1989. Keith received his Associates Degree from Delhi University in 1991 and received his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Fredonia in 1994. Prior to graduation he had worked at Hilltop Inn in Elmira, NY as a waiter and bartende. Keith married his wife Kristin L. Hart Hansen on August 11, 2001 and they would have celebrated their 10th Wedding Anniversary on August 11, 2011. He became the Branch Manager of S.C. Hansen Inc. in Latham, NY until his illness. Keith was a communicant of St. Mary Crescent Church in Clifton Park and was a former communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. Keith's greatest love was the time he spent with his family and friends. He was a man with a kind heart and loving soul who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Despite his illness, Keith felt blessed for his life and all those in it. He most cherished his time with his daughters whom provided him with great strength and purpose throughout his battle. He enjoyed his summer vacations at Seneca Lake and treasured his family vacation to Disney World in 2009. Keith also had great love for his dogs, Sahara and Snickers. Keith is survived by his loving and devoted wife Kristin L. Hart Hansen; "Daddy's Little Girls" Samantha and Kaitlyn Hansen at Home; his father and mother: Randell B. "Randy" and Sharon Baiz Hansen of Horseheads, NY; brothers: Christian Hansen of Arlington, VA and Alan Hansen and his fianc? Meagan Rice of Elmira, NY; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Fred and Barbara Hart of Berlin, NJ; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Robyn Hart and her partner Charlene McHugh and their son Zachary of Somerdale, NJ and Tracy and Luciano DiPietro and their children Danielle, Arielle, Gabrielle, and Dominic of Hanover, MA; his daughters beloved Great Grandmother "Ga" of Berlin, NJ; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of the most caring and supportive friends a guy could ask for. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Wednesday March 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Keith's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday March 31, 2011 at 10 AM in St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street & Westinghouse Road Horseheads, NY. Keith will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY. Keith's Family would like to thank all the family and friends that have supported Keith and his family during his illness, with special thanks to: Dr. Zackon, Dr. Shapiro, and the nurses and staff of NYOH in Latham and Albany Med, as well as the nurses and staff of 5 South at St. Mary's Hospital, with special thanks to his "buddy" Theresa. Special thanks also to Community Hospice of Saratoga County and to Dixie of Hospice who was with Keith and his family until his passing. The family would also like to thank all of Kristin's friends and co-workers at SPARC, St. Peter's Hospital, and St. Mary's Hospital for their compassion and support.
