Kenneth Scott Obituary
Dundee: Kenneth M. 'Kenny' Scott, age 42, of Dundee, NY; husband of Tammy L. (Trank) Scott and father of SPC Christopher J. Scott who was Killed in Action on Sept. 3, 2011 in Afghanistan; died unexpectedly on Friday December 2, 2011 at Schuyler Hospital, in Montour Falls, NY. Friends are invited to call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 6) at the BAIRD FUNERAL HOME, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Funeral Services will be Private; with Rev. Lucinda O'Leary officiating. Friends are welcome to come to a celebration of his life reception at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 7) at the Dundee American Legion, 10 Spring St., Dundee. Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to the Christopher J. Scott Memorial Fund, c/o ServU Federal Credit Union, 46 Millard St., Dundee, NY 14837; or to any Dundee Junior League Sports Program. We remember and pray for you and your family to have strength and peace. Some days it may only be baby steps...but hang in there...you have handfuls of people willing to help you right now..us included. Tammy and family, There are no words to express the regret of losing Kenny. He was that nice student everyone liked and loved to have in class. On the track we could always count on Kenny to hit the tape first. Later Kenny would embelish his community as a father and husband. He was very proud of his family. Stay strong and hold the line.
