Rosa Buck Obituary
Rosa C. Buck, age 81, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Tuesday August 7, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 6, 1935 in Shippen Twp., a daughter of John and Eva (Schoonover) Confer. Rosa was the wife of the late Edward S. Buck who died in 1988. She was employed as a Teacher's Aide for the Northern Tioga School District. Rosa enjoyed sewing, playing solitaire on the computer, gardening, painting, and wallpapering.
She is survived by five sons, James Buck of FL, David Buck of Corning, NY, John (Darlene) Buck of Lawrenceville, PA, Timothy (Roxann) Buck of Millerton, Mark Buck of Lawrenceville, PA; a daughter, Trixie (Jeffrey) Blass of Galeton, PA; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Jim Confer of Ansonia, PA; two sisters, Betty Dickinson of PA, Peg Blackwell of Wellsboro, PA. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward, and a son Scott Buck.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com

Although I hadn't seen her in many years, I have memories of your mom being special. I remember showing her my ultrasound pic in 1982 at Brackleys, and the next time I came in, she had made the sweetest little homemade book. Such a good heart. Hugs and prayers, Trix, Jim, and all of your family.❤

Prayers to Rosa's family. Rosa was my Mom's -Jean Kephart 1st cousin. Mom would always take us to visit her and I remember her as always smiling and laughing. Love to all of you.
