Wendy Rightmire Obituary
Elmira - Age 69, passed away at the Robert Packer Hospital on Monday, August 2, 2021, after an extended illness. Wendy was born in Elmira, a daughter of the late Raymond Walsh and Pauline Tarbox Walsh. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherrie and Randy VanDyke of Seabrook NH, Amy and Jamie Campanelli of Elmira; son and daughter-in-law James and Amber Rightmire of Elmira; son Cory Rightmire, with Lindsay Gutekunst, of Gillett PA; sisters and brother-in-law, Sally Sellers of Rochester, Rae Marcia and Ron Spencer of Horseheads; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Wendy was an avid reader and enjoyed painting. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren, making them smile and taking them on camping trips.
Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St., Elmira, on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Those wishing may remember Wendy with a donation to Meals on Wheels of Chemung County, 409 William St., Elmira NY 14901.

Wendy you were my Best friend for so many years. I have thought of you so often . All the things we went through together. Thanks for being my friend and maid of honor . So many things I will never forget from junior high through all 4 of your children. I´m glad you are finally at peace . Love you Forever!!
