Dear Eileen & family, We are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I was unable to make the calling hours and I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You and Bill had such a special bond together and always seemed so happy together. It seems you have been going through some very difficult times so I pray God gives you comfort now. Cherish all your good memories. God bless you and may he grant you strength and his peace and love each and every day. All our love, Bonnie & Cam MacDonell

To BJ, Bonny, Danny and Timmy:
My deepest condolences to all of you for the loss of your dad. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend the service today. I will never forget the Flood of 1972, when he and your mom so graciously allowed our family of six to stay with all of you at Woodlawn for a few days after we were evacuated from our home. Your dad was always so welcoming whenever we saw him. Our dad always spoke fondly of him too. He will be missed but will be forever in our hearts. Give your mom a hug for me.
Love to all of you,
Peggy Sue Herrick Tortolon

Eileen, We are so very sorry. We spent some time with Bill while visiting a friend sometime ago. Bill & Jim had a great conversation about working at the post office & he seemed in great spirits. We will be out of town so won't be able to attend the services, but please know we are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Jim & Linda Cassidy

Hey, Billy, I'm glad you are soaring with the angels and free from the prison of Alzheimer's. Thanks for teaching me the rules of tennis at our US Open excursions, and for being a generous and loving stepdad to my little niece.
Hail and farewell! May you always walk in the light.

My friend Waddi was an excellent athlete, and a very good gin rummy and poker player as well. And he loved them ponies. Even the slow ones. Billy always had an easy smile and a chuckle or two to share with the many folks that knew him. A good and decent man. God bless. RIP, amigo
