Joyce Warrington Obituary

Joyce Scott Warrington, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2025, in Elkton, MD. Born in Easton MD, July 10, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Edward Scott and Margaret Ireland Scott. She graduated from North Caroline High and later on July 21, 1973, she married Jeffry Warrington whom she shared 52 years of marriage together. She was most of all a wonderful wife and mother! She had really great abilities in banking, insurance and video store ownership. In the spring of 2022, she retired from Chesapeake College where she played an integral role in their Truck Driving and Culinary programs in Continuing Education.

Joyce will be remembered as a loving, kind, generous woman who always put others needs above her own and who never shied away from hard work. She often lent a helping hand to neighbors and family.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Jeffry Warrington, her adored daughters, Jennifer Donahue (Tom), Jessica Warrington and Brittany Hedl (John), a brother Francis Scott of Denton, MD and two sisters Doris Harris of Denton and Shirley Dean of Easton, MD along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Joyce's name to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, St. Jude’s, Tunnel-To-Towers or an organization of your choice.
