Thomas Moore Obituary

Kenny passed on December 12, 2025 under the amazing care of Talbot Hospice at the Talbot Hospice House. He was 84 years old.

He was born on September 1, 2041, son of Anthony Linwood Moore and Edith Dulin Moore of Centreville.

He grew up in Centreville and lived in one of the two houses built by his father and Uncle Jack Moore after WW2, which Kenny loved to refer to as Moore's Hill. He attended Centreville High School and then entered the U.S. Marine Corps. He proudly worked as a Farrier as his grandfather Linwood Moore did in WWI and was well known on the upper shore for his ability to shoe horses. His second career was as a real estate agent for Ashley Real Estate in Queen Annes County. He later moved to Easton and was a caregiver to his mother in her later years. Kenny loved history, spent many hours reading about his beloved Centreville and Queen Annes County and any other subjects that sparked his interest. He was also an avid gardener.

Kenny is survived by his son Thomas Kennard (Kenny) Moore, Jr. and his granddaughter Ava of Wilmington, NC, his two siblings Judy Moore and Bill Moore(Sheila), three nieces Kelly Cox, Tracy Moore and Heather Sindorf and two nephews Tony Moore and Brandon Moore. He was very close to his nephew Tony who spent hours together and who was especially a comfort in his remaining months.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Tony Moore.

Kenny was known and will be remembered as a free spirit to all those who knew and loved him.

At Kenny's request, his body was donated to Science and there will be no service.

Those wishing to honor his memory may do so by donating to Talbot Hospice Foundation at 586 Cynwood Dr. Easton, Md. 21601
