Larry Arnold Coffey, age 76, passed away June 8, 2021, in Tyler, Texas.

Mr. Coffey was born November 6, 1944, in Beebe, Arkansas, to the late John B. and Otis Coffey.

He graduated from Arkansas State Teachers College in 1964. After serving in the Arkansas National Guard, Mr. Coffey moved to Plano, Texas in 1974. During his career, he worked for Walmart, 3M and owned several companies ranging from advertising to landscape lighting. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed golf, good food and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his son Stephen and his wife Melissa Coffey of Austin, TX; daughter Amy Bass of Tyler, TX; grandchildren Sydney Bass, Tanner Bass, Adam Coffey and Ethan Coffey; brother John and his wife Barbara Coffey of Conway, AR; and nephews Greg and Scott Coffey and their families. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Carole Jean Coffey.

At his request, no services will be held. Donations may be made on Mr. Coffey's behalf to Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County: www.caccollincounty.org/waystogive/.
