ROBERT MCCLINTOCK Obituary

MCCLINTOCK

Robert Bruce McClintock of McKinney Texas passed away March 17, 2021 at the age of 84. He was born on September 12, 1936 to Donald and Kathryn (White) McClintock in Passaic, New Jersey. He graduated from Nutley High School in Nutley, New Jersey. Bob attended Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He graduated from Upsala College in East Orange, New Jersey with a double major Business and Economics. He was a longtime member of The Oaks Baptist Church.

Bob was a Senior Vice President with PaineWebber/UBS Financial Services for 55 years. His job was his life, his passion, his hobby. He knew at 10 years old that he wanted to be working in finance/investments. He would always joke that he hated weekends and holidays. We all knew there was truth in his words.

Bob loved big steaks, great food, Judge Judy, Shark Tank and being the “Mayor of Rockfish” More importantly he loved his family, friends, co-workers and clients.

Bob's quiet demeanor hid his deviously funny side. He had a great sarcastic wit. His most famous saying was “We will know he's retired when his head hits the keyboard.”

Dad, you're retired, job well done, life well lived, love well given. There's a hole in our hearts but we will carry you with us forever.

Bob is survived by his children Pamela Ray of Conroe, Texas, Chris McClintock and wife, Jackie of Princeton, Texas, Kelly Lane of Forney, Texas, Heather Scruggs of McKinney, Texas; stepdaughter, Joanna Castle and husband, Bill of Blue Ridge, Texas; grandsons, Christopher McClintock (Jaime) of Brighton, Colorado, Ryan Ray (Lauren) of Houston, Texas, Robert Ray (Victoria) of Spring, Texas; granddaughters, Taylor Arp (Casey) of Conroe, Texas, Madalyn Lane of Waco, Texas, Macey Prince of Dallas, Texas, Mary Parker Scruggs of Orlando, Florida, Tara Klemm (Daniel) of Ft Worth, Texas, Tessa Castle of McKinney, Texas and Tayla Castle of Princeton, Texas; great-grandchildren, Michael McClintock, Colton McClintock, Brynlee Ray, Harper Ray, Baker Ray, Iylie Laughlin, Rose Jones; sister, Jeanny McClintock of Shelter Island, New York and nephew, Scott Hickey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert B McClintock, Jr; his Love, his wife, Suzanne McClintock; stepdaughter, Suzanne Jones; and nephew, Lance Hickey.
