hello, im Layne (his great grand daughter) he was and still is the best . my favorite memory of him is when he lived id castle Hayne Rd he would take me on his golf cart and drive supper fast and bubu would chase us.

Bobbi, Delayne, Anndell, George and Mrs. Barefoot:
I remember growing on Castle Hayne Road. One of my fondest memories is my friend Bobbi Faye and her family. We shared many great times, fun times and some sad times. She and her family always welcomed me into their home. Mr. and Mrs. Barefoot were wonderful people. She worked as a nurse at the hospital and he had his HVAC Business I think it was called Coastal Heating and Air. We have kept in touch over the years...I will always cherish my great memories of my friend Bobbi and her family.. Sending our love to all of you..

To All the Barefoot's,
My heartfelt sympathy in the passing of Mr. Barefoot. All the good times we had up at the Barefoot house when we were in high school....just too much fun and fond memories especially when Mr. Barefoot would say "time to call it a night" and that was our clue to head home. We were there what seemed like every weekend and he never showed that he was tired of all us kids. What a great dad he was! Hugs and Love to All!
