JAKE BILLINGS Obituary
He was a 2004 graduate of Chapel Hill High School and a 2005 graduate of the Cape Fear Community College Wooden Boat Building Program. He was pursuing a career as a chef.
Survivors include his parents, Charles Billings and Jane Cousins of Chapel Hill; three brothers, Sam Billings and Josh Billings, both of Chapel Hill, and Thad Billings of Wilmington.
Donations may be made to an environmental cause of choice.
A gathering to pay tribute to Jake Billings will be held on Sunday, May 18 at 2:30 at the Rock Quarry Farm.
Rock Quarry Farm is located at 1700 NC Highway 54 West, approximately 3 miles west of Carrboro, across from American Stone Quarry.
