It's interesting that this message about remembering John, was in my email this morning, as Dan and I had just talked about him yesterday. It was snowy, school buses weren't running and we remembered that John would have made sure the students were safe. We remembered the Piedmont days and all the friends and fun we had. Our love to you Carol and all your family.

Carol and family, I had the good fortune of having John as my supervisor at PI/US in Dayton. He was fair, honest, helpful, patient, and he talked a lot about his dear family. He also had a great sense of humor. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will treasure your memories always.
