Odell Williamson Obituary
Odell Williamson, 90, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died Sunday, October 3, 2010.
Born in Brunswick County on November 19, 1919 he was a son of the late John Bunn and Love Bennett Williamson.
He was a retired real estate developer and a United States Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife Virginia Cox Williamson; a son and daughter-in-law DeCarol and Jan Williamson of Wilmington, NC; two daughters and son-in-law LaDane Williamson of Durham, NC, Marnie Williamson-Pigott and Paul of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; five sisters Lois Little of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Joyce Foresy of Richfield, Utah, Lillie Mae Suggs of Wilmington, NC, Kathleen Floyd of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, and Doris Nance of Calabash, NC; a brother Curtis Williamson of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; grandchildren Fraiser Bullington, Kendra Bullington, Grant Bullington, Heather Borten, Love Hardy, Dale Williamson, Jordan Cline, Savannah Williamson and Jonathan Williamson; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private with a public life and legacy service to be announced later.
Memorials may be directed to Lower Cape Fear Hospice "Brunswick House," 1414 Physician's Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I remember many times when Savannah and Dale would speak so fondly of their Grandfather. May God continue to bless all of you with warm support and love.

Dear Williamson family,
God bless, & keep you in this difficult time. Mr. Odell will be forever missed in Brunswick county, and in our hearts too. He did so much for the citizens, and help develop the area as a beautiful place to live, work, & play. He is with all of those who have gone on before. I know you will be reunited when you are called home as well... Miss Virginia, Decarol, Jan, & family you are in our thoughts, & prayers.
