Peggy Kilpatrick Obituary

PEGGY BRADY KILPATRICK

Peggy Brady Kilpatrick passed away October 20, 2010, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice. She was 74 years old and lived in Wilmington. She was born April 13, 1936 in Statesville, NC. Her mother was Juanita Sharpe and her father was Ray Brady. She was employed by Revco/CVS for many years. She was very active in her beloved church, Silver Lake Baptist. She loved to shop, bake, go out to eat, spend time with family and friends, and go to church. She made serving others her life's work because it was what she believed God wanted her to do.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Kilpatrick, her daughters, Sharon Sipes, Susan Heath, and Linda (Becky) Durham, and her step son, John Kilpatrick, her grandchildren John Kilpatrick Jr., Jackie Sipes, Heather & Kristi Kilpatrick, Lindsay Young, Haley Heath, Makenzie Durham, and Brady Durham. She is preceded in death by her son Bobby Steven Godfrey, and her brother Larry Brady.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Brenda Hunt for her unwavering support, love and kindness to our mother and the rest of the family.

A visitation will be held Saturday October 23 at 2:00 at Silver Lake Baptist Church, 4715 Carolina Beach Rd., Wilmington, NC, followed by a celebration of her life at 3:00.

Peggy blessed us in so many ways and was absolutely an inspiration in our lives. She was a beautiful person inside and out. We will miss her so much but find it a comfort to know that she is in Heaven and singing with the angels. She was such a sweet person and will be missed by all who knew her.

I thank God every day for letting me have Mrs. Peggy in mine and my families life. She is the true meaning of unconditional love. Her never lacking faith and her will to serve others was beyond amazing and miraculous. Even though she was sick from the chemo and weary from all else, she never missed a chance to brighten someones day!! Mrs. Peggy was a Gift from God to all and the most amazing Angel on earth. Our sincere Thanks are with her family for sharing her with us. Our Love and Prayers are with you.

She was the sweetest and the most thoughtfulness person and will be missed by everyone.
Her life, her strength and her trust in the Lord was just amazing.
May God bless Mr. Jerry and all of the family. She was truly a blessing to everyone that came in contact with her.
