Steve (Big Joe)(Conman) will always be a part of me. Not only was he my friend for over 30 years, he was the best friend ever. May he always rest in peace.

Judy,
I'm so sorry to hear that our family has lost one of it's most outrageous characters. I mean this only in a good way. Steve was my younger cousin and the oldest son of my godparents. I spent much time with Steve in the summer of 65' (working at the Country Club) when I was 15 and he was 12 and even though I was the elder, being around him was...let's just say, a learning experience. Just to share one quick story...I remember when Steve asked his mom if he could paint his bedroom and could he pick the color. My aunt and uncle (being the giving people they were) agreed to both. Who would have thought (even though it was Steve) that he would have painted the entire room black. Oh well, that was Steve. Although the last time we saw Steve was about a year and a half ago, it's nice to be left with the memory and image of the same person we grew-up with. I'm very sorry for your loss...he will certainly be missed.

So very sad to read this. I remember him as a young man when I used to come to his house and give his mother medical care when she needed it. He was always such a gentleman and I'm sure he will be very much missed.
