SUZANNE SMITH NASH Suzanne Smith Nash, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Wilmington. She was born in Danville, VA, on November 13, 1945, daughter of the late Arthur Lester Smith and Willie Eunice Stephens Smith. Mrs. Nash was a graduate of Averett University in Danville, Virginia. She worked as a Realtor / Broker in Wilmington for over thirty years; the last fifteen at Intracoastal Realty. Mrs. Nash was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and a member of the choir for many years. She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, David Alan Nash; a son, David Alan Nash, Jr. and wife Kathryn; a daughter, Leslie Anne Nash; and grandchildren, Ella Ruth and Margaret MacKenzie Nash; all of Wilmington; also a brother, Arthur Lester Smith, Jr. of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church, 125 South 3rd Street, Wilmington, NC, 28401. A reception will be held in Gilmore Hall at the church, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC, 28401, or First Presbyterian Church.
