Arthur GORE Obituary
Dr. Arthur J. Gore passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was a dedicated physician and loving father. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, love of practical jokes and witty sense of humor. He is survived by his daughters Dr. Aja, Ashleigh and Camryn and wife Silesia Gore.

Dr. Gore delivered all of my children and saved me from considerable pain and struggle in pregnancy. He was kind and caring, and also a lifted healer and physician. We are at a meeting thinking of people to honor in the community and I thought about him.

I am so sad that i am just seeing this omg my favorite doctor he delivered all 3 of my kids 1992,1997,1998 and my daughter is pregnant and i told her i know a very awesome doctor and then i see this omg i am so sad RIP Dr Gore prayers to you all im late seeing this still sad

This was so sad to read that this brilliant Dr. passed away. Dr.Gore delivered my two beautiful daughters Brittney 1990 and Lexus 1995. He was the best. So caring, patient and very funny! I know he is missed by many. RIP Doctor Gore.

Dr. Gore delivered my beautiful daughter Oct. 18, 1986. He is the best of the best of OB/Gyn. So patient, extremely brilliant, & KIND. I am so glad I had Pru Care Ins thru Seton (where I worked as R.N.) & had Dr. Gore & his group of O.B/Gyn Drs. It was a wonderful & very special experience!

I was just talking to my daughter about Doctor Author Gore. He deliver Chloe on August 9 1999 and I went to pull up his picture. I was shocked to see that he had passed. He was a very nice and funny doctor he made me feel comfortable at every doctors visit. I wish he had delivered my second daughter but my ins change so I had to change doctors I will cherish him my whole life and hope he is doing good in heaven Rest in Peace Mr,Authur GoreCristina Anna Strahm

I completely did not know Dr Gore passed away he saved my son Michael's life in 2001 and I will be forever grateful for Dr Gore's help with delivering and saving my Michael

Dr. Gore delivered my son on July 30 1993 and helped me through a pretty rough delivery. Great and caring doctor. Was very sad to hear of his passing. Keep them laughing in Heaven, Doc.

Wow. This truly hearts my heart. He was the first doctor that I ever trusted. He helped me in ways that no other doctor could, or would, getting my body back on track, saving me unnecessary procedures. I always knew that there was also a super cool factor in there, because of the pierced ear. ha. He never wore an earring, and was always super professional, but I remember getting a kick out of that back in 1986. I'm very sorry to learn that he has passed away, but grateful to his family for sharing him with me, and all the young women that entrusted themselves in his care. You are missed, Dr. G.

I can't believe that Dr. Gore is gone. He delivered my 2 kids 30 years old and 21 years old and would had delivered my 3rd but miscarry. I will always remember you and thank you for your care.

Not sure what tears could even do right now, nor a runny nose, nor an overtightened muscle near the neck. After career searching for months, googling a different thought brought me to this page just to verify the picture... very humble doctor... sent me on many appointments... even woke up at 2am to help me. My son will always have his name in his baby book as long as we breathe. Those days are like now, long and stress filled, but however it was chosen I never sensed any agitation pertaining to his skill driven talent. As a military child I'm not from Texas, but Dr. Gore had a great team. I can't stop crying enough thank yous and being a doctor is not for me. But I know I'll remember something about him when I think healthcare priorities. Apr 94-Jan 95 patient

Just reflecting with my husband about WONDERFUL Dr. Gore! He delivered all three of our children 23, 20, and 10. Exceptional care all three pregnancies/deliveries....especially.since all three pregnancies were 'high risk!.
Sad moment learning of Dr. Gore"s death.....we JUST googled to see if we could find him on Social Media. Then more joyous reflecting with my husband about the funny jokes, witty humor, and sensitive care from 1992 until 2006. RIP DR. GORE.

My husband and I were just sharing memories with each other of Dr. Gore, and I looked him up to find out he passed away. I'm in tears, we are very sad to hear this news so late. I was his youngest patient in 1993. He delivered my son, my daughter in 2000 and saw me after a miscarriage in 2008. He was such a great doctor and he cared so much, and he saved my life as a teenage parent with a high-risk pregnancy. Our prayers to the Gore family, he will be missed.

I just found out that Dr. Gore died. He was an amazing doctor, and he delivered my son on July 28th, 1997. He was the only one to take my case because the other OB/GYN refused to care for me due to my religious belief of no blood. I will be forever grateful to him. My deepest condolences to his family.

Dr. Gore, was a very close friend as well as my doctor for a short period of time before he moved away from Austin. AJ, as we called him, and I grew up together in Cuthbert, Georia. Cuthbert, being a very small southern town, everyone knew each other, and really we all were like family. My heart is broken for losing such a wonderful person, and capable doctor. To the family, I feel your lost and hopefully we will see each other again soon in Cuthbert.

My deepest and sincere condolences to the family! Dr. Gore delivered all 4 of my children. He was the best at making you feel just fine! I was scared and 20 when I met him in his office. Fears faded after he started talking! Just looked him up for my daughter with no luck in Aug 2015. RIP Dr. Gore!

Great doctor always made me feel comfortable. After every birth of my two son's he would ask what are you going to name you son..Arthur is a great name. I would say his dad wouldn't like that. He said we wont tell him....hahaHad looks of love and respect for him.

I'm so saddened to hear this. I worked with Dr Gore for many years at St David's and have missed him so much since he left. he was hilarious and an instigator. he was an excellent Doctor and excellent man. I was sad when I called you and you told me that you were no longer in practice days after my last child was born, but I'm so grateful that I could still call you and you answered my questions. As they would say in the movies..."nobody asked me". He loved saying that to me at the office. You will be missed my Dr. Gore. I am saddened that I did not get to say goodbye one last time. What a nice man! This is a sentiment echoed by so many nurses at St. David's Medical Center as well as his many patients. We saw him often in the middle of the night---caring for his patients and hanging out at the nurse's front desk-- joining in the conversations and answering questions. Thank you Dr. Gore for being the Doctor and Man that you were! May your family find comfort in the memories that were shared.

Dr. Arthur Gore delivered my 25 year old down to my 9 year old. I loved his bedside manor and his witty sense of humor. My condolences to his family. He was a great man, and a great doctor. He will be greatly missed and appreciated forever.

My condolences to the family. Dr. Gore delivered both of my girls (18 and 13)....i would call about not being able to keep anything down or whatever i was experiencing and all he would tell me in a funny way was "Congratulations you're pregnant" lol....he joked through my whole pregnancy which made me choose him again. He will be missed.
